Of course, I can't ignore Tokyo Tower calling from high above.
So I went up there for the nth time and savoured Tokyo from up
333 meters high. Looking down from 150 meters, this was what I saw:
The Tokyo skyline was really hazy,
with Typhoon No.4 looming beyond the horizon.....
From the Yotsuyasanchome Station (where I stayed),
I took the Metro Tokyo Subway System around as much places
as my feet and energy can muster....
Tired and weary, but very happy (with numerous shopping bags in tow), I decided to go back home....and wait for the
Hikari Super Express Shinkansen back to Shizuoka!
<<<<<<-----While Aboard the Shinkansen Super Hikari Express

Where I was met with more rains...and the taxis are nowhere,
perhaps busy transporting passengers here and there.
So I waited for my 'sundo' which came late!

Hi sis,
I have not been to Tokyo in almost 2 decades na. My favorite is the Haku Hinkan in Ginza. Buti na lang may yakiniku dito sa 'Pinas. Inggit ako!
Very interesting highlights of a city in the land of the rising sun. It is the next best thing to actually being there, seeing Tokyo thru the eyes of CORY! The only time I set foot in Japan was when I was passing thru, on stopover at the Narita airport.Certainly this adds up to my meager knowledge in addition to Japan travelogues documentary of the national geographic.
schumey,
yakiniku is of korean origin....kaya lang medyo naiba ng kaunti yata...somethin' like the japanized version.
Two decades have done a great deal to Tokyo... Talagang 'wish-you-were-here' ang drama ko habang naglalakad sa Tokyo streets at umiikot sa Subway!
Who knows? Maybe there'll be an EB in Ropponggi....or in Minato?
Huwaw!

eagle wild,
I am but a small 'tuldok' as far as the professional documentaries are concerned. I can never equal them.
........but these entries were done 'through the eyes of love'.....
Cheers!
