Temple/Shrine in our midst

This is the small Temple/Shrine near our place.
It was inaugurated December last year.

During summer months, on a Sunday morning once a week, residents of the community clean this place and the roads leading to this Shrine. It is a community effort which opens communal communication as well.

There are more Temples, grand and lavish all over Japan. This one is typical of small village Temples.
